For real, it seems like doing sh--posting is frowned upon. times have changed since 2018-before.

We need more funny and less sponge bob again

Kinda. There is a censor for the more intense words, but light swearing such as "damn" and "hell" are fine. We also allow acronyms that contain swears (like "wtf") Though this rule has definitely gotten more lax over the years, iirc there used to be strictly no swearing at all.

For the better imo. I used to lurk here from 2016 to 2018. SBM back then was (mainly) people who got tired of SpongeBob but stayed for the community. Now we have newer members who are more interested/invested in the show, even if they think it's declined. The vibe here is so different from 2018 SBM, and it's more chill too. I'm happy with new SBM. Most of the in jokes from back then like dpongebob just didn't work for me (but I could live with them, otherwise I might not have lurked as long as I did).

Why though? I genuinely don't understand this. You want a SpongeBob forum to have...less SpongeBob?
 
purple, angrykoopa and bubbles99swell need to be regulars again for the funny to be regular again

I just realized I don't even remember the joke you were talking about because it started after i left this site lmao
 
Anyways, I'm closing this thread now. There's no point to it now that the original person who made it is banned, not that there was ever much of a point to keep it up. SneakyMcSneakyPants's post basically echoes my thoughts though
