As a kid my favorite snack was Yogos. Yogos were small spherical candies coated in fruit-flavored yogurt. I remember downing handfuls while hanging out at the park near my house.
Unfortunately, these things were pretty swiftly discontinued for a completely valid reason. People began to realize that despite Yogos being advertised as a yogurt snack often advertised by placing many Yogos to make pixel art of various fruits, Yogos were essentially just sugar. A 20-gram serving of Yogos had 13 grams of sugar, which is 2 more grams than you'd find in a Snickers Bar of the same size. Due to people steering away from Yogos in favor of slightly more healthy (but still unhealthy) snack options, the candy was pulled from shelves.
I understand why Yogos were pulled from shelves and am not advocating that they make a return as they were. I think they should either change up the recipe to keep a good taste while making it slightly healthier, or at the very least they should be more upfront about the fact that they're more of a candy than a yogurt snack. Yogurt is often considered a healthier alternative to many snack foods, and it can be a bit misleading to slap some on your candy and pass it off as anything but yogurt-covered candy.
