What Country Is Bikini Bottom In?

It's in the Pacific Ocean, but I don't know the islands. Maybe they don't want us to know... :shifty:
 
They speak American English and live in the Pacific Ocean so Bikini Bottom must be near California, Oregon or Washington.
 
Sponge and Pat celebrated July 4 in Breath of Fresh Squidward, and there's also the postcard in Plankton's Holiday Hits that says it's part of the US. Looks like SpongeBob and crew are proud Americans.

it may be another Bikini Atoll that is owned by the US.
