Unpopular Opinions on Nickelodeon shows

I agree that the Loud House is overrated and I never found Invader Zim interesting, though it getting a new movie on the network is nice to hear for any fans of the show. It has a nice art style.

Also, not sure if this an unpopular opinion: but I strongly dislike all Dan Schnieder shows after iCarly. They were awful in my opinion, like Game Shakers and Henry Danger. Just bland and unfunny. Also, for SpongeBob: I think he started getting better when Season 8 premiered.

This isn't really unpopular, but it's an opinion I don't think anyone has ever said.

The cancelled Gibby spin-off should've came out after iCarly instead of Sam & Cat.
There was a canceled Gibby spin-off planned? I know they had Jerry Trainer do something, but a Gibby spin-off sounds really weird lol.

It does sound weird, but whatever it would've been, it sure would be better than what we got instead.

True.

Fairly Odd Parents still had some decency even after Poof for a while.
This.

I agree with this so much. I think the show was still good after Poof, but popular opinion: I felt it got bad when Sparky was introduced.

Speaking of Fairly OddParents, despite the addition of new characters, I still thought the show was alright. Wasn't as good as it used to be, but it did its job at entertaining me, slightly... But, when it turned to Flash animation, I gave up on the show entirely and it seems Butch and Nick did too.

The Loud House sucks imo. I've tried to watch like 3 episodes, it's just not my type of show I guess.

Drake and Josh is underrated. It was the best Dan Schneider show, and it's not even close (not to say all of his other shows are bad).

I don't know if this is unpopular, but while FOP was still good after Poof was introduced, imo once it went to flash animation and introduced Chloe, it was like 10 times worse then any seasonal rot SpongeBob had. It was difficult for me to finish just 1 episode of that season. Still sad to see it end though, I've watched the show since I was like 3.

I didn’t watch Nick’s live action sitcoms as much as Disney Channel’s. That’s not to say I think there worse, I just don’t get that same pull with them.

As for NickToons, I never got into the mid 2000s action shows like My Life as a Teenage Robot, Danny Phantom or Avatar. I get their historical significance as the last couple shows not to overdo the comedy, but I can’t bring myself to get as invested in cartoons as they wanted me to be.

If Cartoon Network wasn't called Cartoon Network, then they may have not received as much backlash when they attempted live-action in 2007.

in Gibby (which is also a working title), zany Gibby (Munck, left) gets a gig at a recreational center where he winds up as a mentor to four offbeat middle-school students.

The plot is about him mentoring off-beat middle school students!? Why did we get Sam and Cat over this? WHY, NICK, WHY?

Because Sam and Cat appeals to more children I think, Nick probably speculated that this wouldn't fit for anything, and thus Sam and Cat came to be.
