Unofficial Storyboards from Bill Main

I found some cool, unofficial SpongeBob storyboards from an artist named Bill Main. Note that these are unofficial (not from Nickelodeon) and aren't part of a real episode.

Some drawings in the storyboard feels like something I would see in Season 1. I liked this storyboard, would've been cool if we got to see this animated.

These were posted on his blog in December of 2015, but I believe he said he made these around 2 weeks before at an class at the Oatley Academy of Visual Storytelling where he was encouraged to make these storyboards to bring into what I think was an animation expo called CTN.

Yeah it did kinda remind me a little of pre-movie, I thought it actually was one lol. I hope whoever wrote the storyboard can stay then if that's the case.

I genuinely hope he can be a potential storyboard artist for a few episodes, he could be really good and become a main storyboard artist on the show! ;)

I like the animatics a lot, who knows? Maybe he may be the one to undo the crazy cartoony affect of 10 and on wards (not that that's bad just overdone a little bit too much).

It would be pretty scary and unpleasant to see some of these scenes in cel animation, Especailly spongebob's eyes popping out

To be honest, I agree. Some of these scenes would be straight up disturbing if they were animated.
