Doing another list! SO.... here are my top 5 favorite episodes of season 2! Overall, season 2 is my second favorite season (behind season 1.)
1) Dying for Pie
This episode does a beautiful job of portraying the relationship of Spongebob and Squidward. It's funny, it's heartbreaking (seriously, this is one of those majorly tear-jerking episodes for me,) and it's powerful in its own strange way. The fear of losing someone you really care about hits me hard. Also, have you noticed how beautiful the colors are in this episode? They really pop!
My favorite scene has to be a tie between the entire climax of the episode- from the sunset to the explosion- and Spongebob introducing Squidward to his friends.
2) Christmas Who?
...I don't even need to say anything about this episode. This screenshot alone speaks for itself:
3) Graveyard Shift
This is another Squidward/Spongebob episode I really like. The high point of the episode (and it takes up a LOT of the episode) is the very long scene of Squidward telling the scary story to Spongebob. The music and voice-acting in the scene are perfect.
My favorite scene has to be either that one, or the scene in which Squidward says "I've always sort of liked you!"
4) Squid's Day Off
Even by the standards of the show, this is a really weird episode. It's 11 minutes of Squidward having a self-imposed mental breakdown, and it's as unsettling as it is hilarious.
My favorite scene is Squidward starting to lose his mind, looking more and more deranged. The creepy music just sells it, too.

5) Band Geeks
I've talked about how overrated Band Geeks is, but I still love it anyway! It's a childhood favorite, a classic, and it still holds up 15 years later.
