Alarming amounts of people remember The Berenstain Bears as being spelled The Berenstein Bears during the childhoods. Some claim to even have seen the covers ending in ein. It was even pronounced as such. However, when they go back to find their childhood books they will always find that they say "The Berenstain Bears" and be creeped out. This is a classic example of the Mandela Effect. It causes one to remember events that are simply not true by today's reality. This is believed to be caused by multiple people being shifted to an alternate reality where no such thing ever happened. It gets it's name from many people remembering Nelson Mandela dying in 1986 in prison. One person remembers having a thing at school to honor him as well as seeing the news in several papers. It's very strange. So how do you remember it? Stain or stein? You decide.
