This movie was awful. I love the original Thunderbirds and Thunderbirds Are Go. But this movie was awful, the only good thing about it was that beautiful soundtrack. Even the creator of Thunderbirds, Gerry Anderson called the movie "the biggest load of crap I have seen in my life".

They paid him £500,000 ($791,540) to go to the premiere and promote the movie, but he was so hurt by the movie that he refused to.

I prefer it being an actual Ford Thunderbird, that Rolls Royce from the original series was disjointed and butt-ugly.

Well, The Office and Veep turned out pretty great. (Veep is an American version of this show called The Thick of It and while it isn't exactly a remake, both shows are political satires) But yeah, I agree that quite a few American remakes of UK shows are crappy.

When the original creator is disappointed by a film adaptation...dang that sucks.
