Which Karen do you prefer? When Karen is sweet, caring and understanding of Plankton (Plankton's Army)? Or when she is irritated and mean to Plankton (Plankton's Regular, One Coarse Meal)?

Hmm, I think I like them both. It really depends on the episode, since somtimes it's better for her to be sassy, and other times it's better for her to be supportive. I think the fact that they are both facets of her character makes her character even better, since although she is supportive of Plankton in general, she's not going to take his disrespect lying down.

I prefer Mean Karen because she stands up for herself and isn't afraid to voice her opinions. Her assertiveness can be refreshing and adds an interesting dynamic to the show.

I liked her in the first five seasons, became a hit or miss type of character in later episodes.

It's funny you say that, because I feel the opposite. I feel like she's gotten better over time since she's started to get a little more focus than being a minor supporting character. But I guess that's a double-edged sword, since more focus and complexity can mean more parts of her that aren't that enjoyable.

i like both of them, i like it how karen's character has gotten better in the newer season's season 8 specially with walking the plankton kinda plants that seed, while its not fully fleshed out in that episode, after that we do get better karen material

idk, plankton is already basically a punching bag on this show and is constantly stepped on, it's cool whenever someone is nice to him for a change. also, the eddy & double d/daffy & porky/dan & chris/shake & frylock style relationship of having a pompous, incompetent leader, and the smarter sidekick who does all the work and snarks and rolls their eyes is a thing i've seen a lot.
A villain self loathing and and his assistant genuinely trying to cheer him up and boost his confidence (like in Plankton's Army) is something I don't think I've seen anywhere else. it's either one of them is mean or both of them are mean to eachother.

i like both of them
I just added the option for multi-vote thanks to your remark
