SpongeBob's role to our future children

Vomit Boy
So, yeah. This is probably the most thought out, less analytic topic I ever created.

First of all, I should explain why SpongeBob should be a part to a child's development. Probably should post this topic right now, before my wife finds out and asked for her opinions to be typed. It's just a fact that people dished out about SpongeBob being such a bad influence and stuff to our children. Why? I mean, he's been such a great, optimistic, happy character that every kid loves. Bikini Bottom is a metaphor to our world. Colourful, weird and sometimes dark. In which many have different characters and personalities. The grumpy neighbor, the dim friendly mate, the cheap boss, the weird creepy short guy (green is an option) and the perfect girl next door (If only he weren't asexual). Just a blend of characters we see everytime. SpongeBob does everything with exuberance. The point is, life's hard and full of colour, but if we celebrate it, it'd be a wonderful. Or at least look wonderful.

SquarePants' role for the development of my children

I want SpongeBob to be a guided role-model. As in, I guide my kids to follow SB's main points so that in the future, they won't annoy their neighbor. Points such as giving everything, and doing it happily. Making friends and being friendly. Respecting old people, loving younger ones as well as treating everyone with the same care and affection.

I'm sure with my right guidances (and my wife's cooperation at actually allowing my kids to watch the show), I'm sure, one day in the future, I will have kids that re-live the spirits of SpongeBob SquarePants.

:)

So what do you think? Will SB be your kids role-model, or will you avoid the show at all cost for the sake of your kids?

I'm 99.9% sure I'm never going have a wife and certainly not kids, but if I did have kids, yes, I would use the Sponge as a role model.
Why? Having a family is fun.

Here I am with my lovely girlfriend with our cat. Every day we would water the plants, feed the cat, work stuff (for me writing stuff for a magazine for my staff training.) We do it everyday! ....

Everyday! With the same cycle

....

Over and over again ....

.....

.....

Just stickin' along .....The rules or such ....

.....

And then when we get married next year or two, there'd be more responsibility

.....

The babies

......

The work

......

The tax ....

Screw it. Family's overrated. I'm slackin' off. :P

Well, I'm one of those people who can't stand social contact. Hell, my reasonings for liking the 5AM-7AM hours are:

-no signs of civilization
-no cars
-no people
-I can do whatever the hell I want
-I don't have to talk to people
-I don't have to deal with stress from others
-I don't have to impress others

I can no longer walk in the evening hours because there's "so many people" (translation: 3 people) outside walking and I can't go furiously in my pajamas.

I don't need a wife telling me I can't do things and I don't need a child not letting me do the things that mean something to me.

So, having a family for me sounds like real life hell.

So basically I'm a mix of SpongeBob and Squidward....

I will have a wife and kids and I will let them watch SpongeBob, but I will not make SpongeBob their role model. That pretty much means they're following a cartoon character more than me and I would absolutely not like that.

We are an independent god/goddess who need no man/woman.

If I did have kids which is unlikely for myself too I would make sure they follow SB's biggest influence on us in general. This influence is being optimistic about everything and being innocent. Friendship is important and working hard at your job like SB is great.

If I ever have kids, I'm certainly going to allow them to watch SpongeBob. :) He's quite a good role-model, he teaches a lot of important things to kids, like the value of friendship. :)

Plus, with me around, they won't be able to avoid SpongeBob :P
