In this scene, SpongeBob laughed as usual.

"It's under your nose! (laughs)"

But when he's laughing with Mr. Krabs, his laugh sounds very different.

Have you ever noticed this? Discuss.

If you can't remember the scenes, I brought you this video (This was the best I could find)

Normal laugh at 0:50
Different laugh at 2:02

Aw man, I can't view the video (copyright grounds, so stoopid).

But back on topic, maybe it's just the way that Tom Kenny laughed during the scene with Mr. Krabs.

I like how weird and obnoxious that laugh sounds tbh.

I always just assumed that they deliberately made Spongebob's laugh extra annoying and weird for that scene.

I don't like his laugh in that Mr. Krabs scene. I have always found it to be a very awkward moment and I'm not sure what they were going for. Is it supposed to be funny? Or were they just not completely decided on what SpongeBob's laugh would sound like yet?

I think Tom Kenny was still trying to figure out how it should sound.

I need a stand-alone version of SB's different laugh. It sounds so cute!

And yeah the producers said it was a test to see how much SB can laugh like that before getting annoying
