• Grandma SquarePants and Grandpa SquarePants have to be on SpongeBob's father's side because of their last name
• Stanley and Sherm also must be for the same reason.
• Blackjack and Uncle Captain Blue could be on either side, but it is likely that they are on the mother's side. Also, it's likely that Blue is Blackjack's father, and maybe Blue is SpongeBob's mom's maiden name...
• SpongeBob is an only child

Patrick

• Only known relatives besides antecestors are Herb and Margie Star
• Cousins to Gary?

Squidward

• The only known family member is Mama Tentacles, and obviously Squidward had a father at one point but it is unknown what happened to him.

Mr. Krabs

• Krabs has to have a sister and a brother in law because he has three nephews. It cannot be a brother and sister in law because Grandpa Redbeard said that he only had one grandson, Mr. Krabs
• Redbeard could be Mama Krabs' father, if Redbeard was her maiden name. But then, Redbeard could be a first name or nickname, too.
• Krabs' father likely died, but pictures can be seen around Mama Krabs' house, with a black moustache and old, worn pictures.

Sandy

• Has one Scottish relative, likely a grandfather or uncle
• Has a great aunt Rosie Cheeks.
