I know that recently, I have been talking about this a lot, but here me out. I saw a rerun of Jellyfish Jam (I can't remember the exact time), The Inmates of Summer(Last Week), and The Fry Cook Games (Today). Those episodes had thier TCs skipped for some reason, why is it that these episodes had the issue while thier sister episodes, and the rest of the series don't?. Can they fix this? I really hope so.

If you guys are wondering why I've been talking about the TCs (title cards) so much recently, it's really because they really look clean on my television, even the SD ones. They just look appealing, at least when you're not too close to the screen. I'm trying to rip these from my TV from Nickelodeon HD, for a certain project. Although that doesn't seem likely anymore because of course some of the title cards are skipped, and the TV-Y7 logo gets in the way of some of the LOBB episodes because of the book format, delaying any possible screenshoting.

Again, sorry if these topics are getting repetitive, and hopefully this will be the last topic relating on the matter, I'm just so bored sometimes because it feels like it's been forever since a new ep. has aired :P

Anyway, have a safe morning/afternoon/evening/night! :)

This has been happening since 2013. My guess is that it's either a broadcasting error on Nickelodeon's part or they're trying to get more commercial time.

It’s a ploy to get more commercial time because cable can’t support itself anymore in our increasingly internet-centric world.

It's because Nick wants to make room for more commercials, I guess.

Funny, I noticed this on Fry Cook Games earlier, too.

Seems more like a broadcast error - Nicktoons' broadcasts of those two episodes have their title cards.

A broadcast of "Inmates" on Nicktoons from April 2017.. hopefully Viacom doesn't block this. Apologies for the sideways video.

Cartoon Network has this glitch with a couple Season 1 Gumball episodes where the title card isn't shown (The Goons and The Quest). It's probably a glitch of theirs they didn't bother to fix and is still like that since I recorded in 2014. I'm not sure what Nick's reasoning is. :P

It's a shame that glitch doesn't cause it to skip the entire episode :(

Kinda irrelevant, but why do Seasons 1&2 and maybe 3 look bad on TV, while Seasons 4-Onward look really clear? I can't be the only one that notices. It's like S1-2 and some of 3 were made on VHS.

(Well, Season 3 in general looks alright on my TV I guess).

Every season 3 episode made before "Idiot Box" has the VHS effect. Some season 1 episodes have the VHS effect. And EVERY single episodes from season 2 looks VHS-ey except for Christmas Who.

Is there a way to adjust my the TV to make these Seasons look better?

It happened to. Last July 21, 2017; the premiere of a new SpongeBob episode called The Getaway skipped it's title card, especially when it replays. This proves that Nickelodeon is pretty defective now.
