Slipknot’s Corey Taylor Covers “SpongeBob” Theme

This video sort of made the rounds yesterday, and I kind of ignored it at first. But really, its quite amazing.
It features Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor performing an acoustic cover of the theme song to the animated series SpongeBob SquarePants in Northampton, Massachusetts.

Im amazed that Corey watches that show. Doesnt he have better things to do?

The audience-participation performance came during a benefit concert for the It Takes A Community Foundation, a non-profit charity created by Staind frontman Aaron Lewis and his wife, which seeks to revive rural communities.

lol, it wasn't as heavy metal as I thought it would be. But then I realized it was for a community event. Still, it would be pretty hilarious to see a heavy metal cover of the famous theme.
