What about Wander Over Yonder? Oh nvm, that's on Disney XD now. Screw you, Disney Channel.Zelda4Life said:I vote for Disney Channel. Sure, it has Phineas & Ferb and Gravity Falls, but that channel has a massive amount of hate. It has been said to have gone downhill when Hannah Montana entered the channel (and I agree). Then, we got cheesy and unfunny sitcoms like Jessie, Shake It Up!, A.N.T. Farm, So Random!, Austin & Ally, and many more (I liked some of those shows, though). Some of those were cancelled, but Disney Channel still seems to be on the low side for me. The channel's branding is also kind of bland. Plus, it barely shows originality, anymore, and it's more than likely that when you turn to the channel, you'll see a lame live-action show. All of the live-action shows on that channel are basically the same, but with a different level of uncreativity.
Nickelodeon comes close, but it still has its perks like SpongeBob SquarePants, Fairly Odd Parents, TMNT, and a couple others.
Cartoon Network is doing a great job, however. They cancelled their bad shows (mainly the live-action ones), and they got better writers, branding, and great, clever, funny, and creative shows such as Adventure Time, Regular Show, The Amazing World of Gumball, Steven Universe.
So, definately Disney Channel.
So is GF, they've even been airing new shorts over there...mandythepharmacist14 said:What about Wander Over Yonder? Oh nvm, that's on Disney xD now. Screw you, Disney Channel.
We've been over this before. It's hit and miss. Every channel has a few diamonds and a thousand mudlumps. Personally, just to keep its head above water, I'm going to give Disney credit for WOY since they aired it ORIGINALLY, but why they want to part ways with it and dump it to X D is beyond me.
All of these networks (Disney and Nick especially) are operating not on the basis of quality programming but profitable programming. They know, correctly, that bad television brings in the moola. However, we're living in an age so deluged with bad television that the head honchos forget that GOOD television can be profitable also.
You can have it both ways, people!
1) BoomerangThe Tide And Seeker said:I am going to have to say Cartoon Network. First off, I understand that a lot of the shows they produce now is junk, but people have some hate towards some of the new cartoons. I know there are some people who happen to like the cartoons they produce, but it puzzles me why they can't see how bad the show is. The only suggestion I have for Cartoon Network is that they should put all the Cartoon Cartoons on the schedule, that would get people's attention to watch their channel.
You must be mistaken. I was talking about Uncle Grandpa as junk. now I do like Cartoon Network, but not some of the new shows. sorry if I did not put in a good way.1) Boomerang
2) The "Cartoon Planet" block
3) CN's new shows all being bad is your opinion; many people seem to like most of Cartoon Network's new shows, and they seem to be getting plenty of attention as it is. Heck, Adventure Time is probably the second most popular cartoon out there right now after Family Guy when it comes to the mainstream. (Note, I don't really like Family Guy and think Adventure Time is just okay. I'm not trying to be biased, just telling you what I've noticed.)
4) We're talking about which network gets the most hate, not which one deserves it.
5) For me, it would be a tie between Disney Channel and Nickelodeon, and I can't really blame people for thinking that way. Almost none of their shows are really creative or funny anymore, with a few exceptions.
Not to bash your opinion, but, IMHO, Fish Hooks sucked.SchoolBox said:Disney Channel. Why? I know people say it went downhill, which is true. But there are very few good shows like Gravity Falls, P&F and Fish Hooks, which recently ended. But the others are horribly boring.
How is the LEL on the end there even relevant?President Squidward said:You know what I think all channels need to do?
For Disney Channel:
- Why show preschool shows during the weekdays, even in the summer, when you have a whole preschool channel? Makes zero sense to me. Get rid of it.
- There's no reason to dump Gravity Falls and Wander Over Yonder to Disney X-D... for what? More bland sitcoms? JUST PUT THE ::dolphin noise:: CARTOONS BACK TO YOUR CHANNEL.
- Show older shows on your channel or make a block for them, and show them during the daytime when people are awake to see them. Don't show the same past shows, though. Mix it up a bit.
For Cartoon Network:
- There's really not a problem with this network, except for one nitpick: they BARELY show the old shows on there, they just shove them off to Boomerang, making Boomerang the 2007 Cartoon Network. *facepalm* Boomerang is for old cartoons like Hanna-Barbera, Looney Tunes, Pink Panther, even Peanuts. Not The Powerpuff Girls, Chowder, The Garfield Show, and bloody Pokémon. FIX IT UP.
For Nickelodeon:
- Quit showing SpongeBob 8-14 times a day. You're Nickelodeon, not The SpongeBob Channel. Show SpongeBob 2-4 times a day.
- Speaking of SpongeBob, they seriously speed up the episode for more commercial time. Completely stupid. Show the episodes in normal speed please.
- The same problem for Nick too: Show the old shows on your channel. The 90's Are All That block on TeenNick mostly shows the same shows, which is completely stupid. FIX IT IMMEDIATELY.
- And lastly: QUIT SHOVING YOUR SHOWS TO NICKTOONS, SHOW THE SHOWS ON YOUR CHANNEL INSTEAD. WHY DID YOU SHOVE T.U.F.F. PUPPY TO NICKTOONS, NICK?! WHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYSBSNANHAJKDSJJSSIKL LEL
That's all I have.
