Sandy and Patrick's relationship?

We don't see their relationship a whole lot in the show. Sometimes they're shown hanging out, but Sandy doesn't seem to like Patrick at all. Does she mostly put up with him for Spongebob's sake? Seems like in every other scene together, Sandy's mad at Patrick.
