I'm sure everyone here knows about the two scenes from Procrastination & Just One Bite, that used to air on TV and don't any more. In Just One Bite it's when Squidward walks into the Krusty Krab alarm system which is just a bucket of water, (which turns out to be gas.)
And I can barely remember the procrastination one cause it's been so long since I've seen it, but it's something about Spongebob exercising I think.
Anyways, does anybody know why these scenes aren't shown anymore on TV or where I can watch them. I've even downloaded procrastination from iTunes and watched Just One Bite on netflix, and the scenes are still cut out. I've aways wondered why they're not shown anymore.

In Procrastination, SpongeBob sees all of his friends having fun while he has to write his essay. (also, with a car crash) After that, how 'bout some calisthenics? (Hup-hoo!) So, it was probably too long to air, although Nicktoons has aired the uncut version several times.

And in Just One Bite,

Some people think this was cut due to the 9/11 incidents, but this episode premiered two weeks after 9/11, WITH the original scene.

Yeah, and I can remember seeing it several times with the original scene. Thanks so much for posting it, I haven't seen it in years.

I remember seeing this. It was a great source of lulz back then.

I'm pretty sure on my Season 2 DVDs the Procrastination episode is uncut. Just One Bite is cut, though.

I would love to see the Procrastination deleted scene again, if anyone finds it let me know! :)

Thank you so much for posting that!
Wow, I haven't seen that in so long. I never realized how much gets cut out now. I barely even remembered all that. I'm sure that one is cut out for time because it's over a minute.

Exactly.

I guess the Just One Bite scene got cut out because it might've encouraged kids to play with gas.

But that's why some Looney Tunes episodes got cut out, and that's BS too.

Wait, what's over a minute? The Procrastination scene was cut because it had Patrick putting sunscreen on Sandy's shoulders, and that's just too disturbing for our innocent children to witness. :nono:

Actually no Nosferatu. I think it was because of the race car and it was a little violent or it was cut for time

People are soft when it comes to cartoon violence. It's sad, really. Like I stated before, they cut out parts of MANY Looney Tunes shorts when they aired on TV, which is pointless, because the series prides itself on violence.

They had to cut out that whole scene just for the car part? They couldn't've just taken that part out? :shiftyninja:
Exactly what I was thinking... It must've been for time, because there's like three different times to that scene.

Im wondering why they don't show those cutscenes anymore but even though its violent and disturbing kids THESE days arent like the kids in the 80s and the kids these dAYS ARE MORE violent then they used to be they watch family guy but also the time purpouses now the episodes are 11 munutes but im wondering how they balanced out the time purpouses with commercials
