Was his characterization in Squid Plus One based off of when he screamed and ran away when SpongeBob yelled "HI MAILMAN" in Chocolate With Nuts? He was worried that Squid was gonna hit him and he was really introverted and stuff.

His personalities in Karate Island, Boating Buddies and Walking the Plankton are superb too. Norton was great but I also like when he's either cautious or annoyed around SpongeBob when he gets his mail. I really wish the characters had more constant names and personalities besides Tom, Fred, Perch Perkins, Old Man Jenkins, maybe Scooter and etc (since they never acknowledge that he was originally Scooter in the newer episodes).
