My Top 20 Favorite Beatles Songs

The 60s influenced music heavily. One of the acts obviously have to be The Beatles. They layed down the ground work for what a rock band was and could make music from a variety of rock styles. I am counting down 20 of those songs.
*Warning:I have not heard every single beatles song, so please no whining about why some song wasn't on the list.
Let the countdown begin!

# 20. Let It Be

The title track from there 12th and last studio album, written by Paul, is about the struggles the band was having during the recording of the album and to saying to just "Let It Be".The song is very calm and uplifting and has nice flow. The lyrics are simple but powerful. Overall, a classic tune that would have been higher, but can become boring if you listen to it to much.

#.19 Something

Ahh..now we go to a sweet song written about his then wife wife Patie Boyd (Spelled wrong Probably :P). Anyways the lyrics to this song are cute and has an good catchy flow.I honestly don't have much to say except its a pretty song that like "Let It Be" gets a little boring if you listen too much.

#18. Savoy Truffle

Now we go on to this snazzy tune written by Harrison when John Lennon was getting dental surgery. I especially love the semi-hard guitar with the lighter vocals. Also the lyrics may be a bit silly, the move along very nice. Also, this song ironically makes me want candy :P.

#.17 Blackbird
(sorry, video won't paste)
This song is beautiful. I literaly makes me wanna cry. Those three chords are just so powerful. Besides that the lyrics move along with a haunting magic.I am literaly tearing up writing this review. Its an amazing song, you should have tissues with to listen too.

Fun Fact: Blackbird was created for the Civil Rights Movement. Anyways, pretty good list so far. I really only have four songs I dislike from The Beatles, so as long as those aren't on here, I'll basically agree with everything you put on here. (Those being I Want You, Old Brown Shoe, Helter Skelter and Revolution 9)

I never knew about this list!! :O Followed!

Your choices look great so far. I'm happy that Hey Jude isn't any higher, not because it doesn't have any musical merit (it does), but because it's too predictable for those who really know the band's expansive catalogue well.

I'm glad I wasn't away for longer, this list seems very promising.

So far I can't argue with your choices; Savoy Truffle is the real highlight here, imo. Great, undermentioned track by George.

You better have Blue Jay Way and Long, Long, Long later on
