My Top 10 Best and Worst Episodes of Season 8

tl;dr this is a middle of the road season with a few high and low points but was mostly boring.

 

[The Appetizer]

"Treats" was a cute episode.
"Home Sweet Rubble", on the other hand, was just horrendous. Barely funny, had some Squid abuse, and was just... horrible to watch.

I also think that Treats! is very relatable. I often struggle to say no to someone.
I think that Home Sweet Rubble is decent enough, but absolutely NOTHING is remarkable about it.

Home Sweet Rubble on the other hand, is definitely not.

I just noticed looking at the episode discussion that SpongeBob said "It's no home sweet pineapple, but I guess it could be worse." I haven't noticed that until no but it's just so funny in hindsight. xD

So I think the episode is so bizarre and weird and like Squid's Visit, as a creepy feel to it. But I feel like it's more similar to Squidward In Clarinetland (which I personally enjoyed). However instead of Squidward's nightmare, it's SpongeBob's. It's a very interesting episode that would probably just miss out on my top 10 for season 8.

So I guess I was agreeing with your opinion. The episode is very underrated/overhated.

I mean, for me the story is the only flaw in IASBC, but a pretty big one. It has plotholes in it and doesn't give you the same feeling as when you watch the first Christmas special. I still think it's very good, but Christmas Who? just beat it on every level (that isn't the animation)

Also, 2,000 posts! Kinda odd that I become a Frozen Cephalopod right after talking about something that is cold-related.

I disagree with your placement of IASBC, though it's still your opinion.

Although the plot isn't entirely strong, the episode still captures my attention all the time with the unique animation, fun songs and jokes. I also thought the characters were their usual selves for the most part.
