Mr. Krabs' Voice

I have noticed that in season 1, Mr. Krabs' voice sounded more caring and compassionate, then after that, it was normal...
In season 10 and onwards, it sounds like he is almost ALWAYS YELLING!!!!!!!!!!

Has anybody else noticed this? Has Clancy Brown said why he changed Mr. Krabs' voice, or is it just him getting older/modifying it without noticing?
 
Well, he has aged 20 years since he first started voicing Krabs (Help Wanted in '97), so that factor definitely plays into it. All the characters seem to be yelling (With the exception of probably SpongeBob & Sandy) these days. Perhaps the voice direction?
 
When people get older, their voices change. But I don't get why he's yelling all the time. Now that he's older, wouldn't that affect him more?

Yes, Gary is yelling.
 
I wonder why Clancy Brown didn't voice Mr Krabs in a number of games(Joe Whyte voiced him and Mermaid Man in Supersponge, Employee of the Month and Battle for Bikini Bottom, though Brown did voice him in Revenge of the Flying Dutchman).
