This is not a thread to talk about the worst SpongeBob episodes, no. This is a thread to talk about the most boring episodes. Which episodes do you find the least interesting? In which episodes do you think that the least "stuff" is happening?
My picks would probably be "The Clash of Triton" and "The Cent of Money."
I also considered "Waiting," "Face Freeze!," and "Smoothe Jazz at Bikini Bottom" for this list. Any episodes you'd like to mention that I didn't? Or would you prefer to elaborate a little more? Feel free to say below.
My picks would probably be "The Clash of Triton" and "The Cent of Money."
- "The Clash of Triton" is pretty much just twenty-two minutes of boring family drama. The titular "clash" hardly even happens, and really is little more than Triton writing his name with lasers. I guess it doesn't really do anything that any other episode does, but it's ultimately just dry, and the double-length does not do it any favors.
- "The Cent of Money" doesn't even have "it does something no other episode does" going for it. I can't think of a single reason to watch this over an episode like "Safe Deposit Krabs" or "Kracked Krabs," or really any other episode featuring Mr. Krabs being greedy for that matter. It's just eleven minutes of Mr. Krabs picking up spare change in various locations, with little variation or anything. I guess that there's a little bit of SpongeBob doing impossible work sprinkled in, but these segments are incredibly short, and don't provide much humor either.
