I am 100% certain that this was an accident. The fact that it can only be accessed through a very specific method by having a streaming service bundle deal makes me think they had a separate listing for the episode for that specific bundle and unintentionally put up the old version. If the episode was intentionally listed and 'unbanned', they wouldn't have put it up on one streaming service in a way this complicated.
 
I mean, yeah, it hurts profits, but that's only really a problem for rich CEOs, no? Like, even in the music industry I'm pretty sure most artists barely get anything from streaming and use other sources for their main income
 
I'm not gonna say rich people are the only victim of piracy because that's not entirely true. And even if they are, they are still victims.

However, if they don't give a legal way to access the content, it should be fine imo, much like how Nintendo handles emulation of games they just killed for good with no intent on restoring in the future
