Yay! So excited, I've been waiting for a new episode for months. Another space episode too! Count me in! :)
 
Finally. I do hope this is paired with InSpongeiac (that episode sounded a little better than this) but if not, I'm good. I'm just glad to be getting some new episodes again. I hate it when Nick shows episodes at a consistent rate and then just stops for no reason. That's really annoying.

EDIT: Huh. I just caught a promo for the episode a few minutes ago. The episode looks a little bit messed up. As in creepy.

Why, Nick? Why do you do this to us? I thought we were finally past the era of unnecessarily weird and disturbing episodes. Season 8 was going so well. Why must you make an episode in which the characters hang from the ceiling in jellyfish pupae and are reborn with blacked out eyes and creepy tentacle mouths?
 
Yeah... that clip of Patrick at the grill was just weird
Don't think it will be able to top the clip from Ghost Host though

Even though I know I'll regret it, please direct me to a clip of this promo. IT MUST BE SEEN TO BE BELIEVED.
 
And, after taking precautions to remove that awfulness from my mind, you returned it there with full force. Thank you for that, DadMom Angrypants. :lol:
But honestly, that episode looks reminiscient of a dark Season 6 episode. If Mr. Springer or Pursel is involved, I expect the episode to be really creepy. Crossing my fingers for Dani Michaeli to have written this one to tone down the adoundant freakiness in the episode. But really, maybe the episode will take a "Whelk Attack" approach and have some redeeming scenes to detract from the weird "blacked out eyes aliens we're so nasty" stuff in the episode. Hope so.

Season 8 was going so well. Really don't want to hit a bump now, because Season 9 is looming ever closer. I look forward to the episode, but cautiously.

Yep, it looks just as messed up as I thought it was going to be. Then again, you could be right in saying that it could actually be funny. Also, if it's (supposedly) a special about the characters turning into (what else?) MONSTERS, then why not just air it on Halloween?!? It would definitely make a lot more sense. Then again, seeing that this is the same network that's airing "Fred: The Show," this doesn't surprise me.

Yes, I think this is episode is going be way over the top. ;( I don't care for the newer episodes.
 
Okay, after seeing this clip a couple times I am utterly frightented lol. But, I mean it still has the makings to be a great episode. Why? It's season 8, stranger things have happened in this season, I don't know about you guys but when I watched Bubble Troubles some parts surprised even me. Plus, it seems like and from the information guide that both SpongeBob and Sandy don't get cloned. So, there's less of a doubt that this episode might end badly, since their last space adventure episode was actually not bad. I was also told that Back to the Past was a bit longer than regular episodes. That being said, this episode COULD be longer. Who knows?



It's called, "Are you Happy Now?" No kidding! >.< Anyways, from seeing the preview for Planet of the Jellyfish, you could note Squidward in the beginning. So, maybe that part of the promo, could be for either "Are You Happy Now" or "Planet of the Jellyfish".

The episodes look interesting, to say the least. Planet Of The Jellyfish looks even creepier than the promo alluded it to be, but it I think it'll be better than it looks so far. "Are You Happy Now?"'s clip wasn't too funny (I did smile at Fiasco's randomness, though. "Squid-ward. Go. Toward. My flamethrower.") but it does seem like it'll have some genuinely funny moments. Clips aren't always the best way to judge (I thought Bubble Troubles would suck based on it's clip, but it was awesome), but these episodes do look good. The animation particularly. It's getting looser, I tell you.

I actually might think the clip is from Fiasco since the fish's name who praised Squidward was named that. :P But yeah POTF is alot less creeper.

Now that I've actually seen this episode, I have to say it was a LOT better than I expected; there wasn't too much gross-out, some moments actually made me laugh, and the pacing was just right. "Are You Happy Now?" (which is about Spongebob trying to create Squidward's happiest memory) was pretty good too...except for SpongeBob's last line. DX

P.S. I apologize for my mini-rant on Nick in my previous post; it had nothing to do with the topic and was completely unnecessary.
