How do you guys all feel about this? I honestly hate it. Its called CARTOON Network for a reason.

Always found it stupid when they added it. They had A TON of live action shows about 3-4 years ago, it's decreased, so I ignore it now. I hate when channels stop their original purpose. I'm looking at you, MTV.

Most of the live action shows sucked. The only one I thought was good was called Tower Prep.

Let's look at the list of live action shows in the past that I remember shall we?

Out of Jimmy's Head - I don't want to explain this crap. I hated the movie so much and I hated that they turned it into a TV show. The movie made me so angry.
The Othersiders - Kids looking for ghosts and other paranormal things. Thats boring
BrainRush- Kids riding on roller coaster answering questions. - Actually thought this was interesting but its still forgettable.
Destroy Build Destroy - Teens building things and then destroying them against another team. - I cringed at this show
Dude, what would happen. - Teens doing random crap - Another show I would cringe at
Bobbe's Says- Don't remember much about this show. Only 6 episodes so it must have been bad
Tower Prep - Teens go to a school for kids with special skills. - I was a fan of this show. It was mysterious
Level up - Teens fight monsters from a video game - I thought this show was stupid. I think it was a movie first
Incredible crew - Teens in a sketch show - I actually thought this show was somewhat entertaining. It was stupid but entertaining.

Other Live actions shows

The Annoying Orange - I hated the sight of that fricken orange on Youtube and so when turned it into a TV show on Cartoon Network I was pissed. There are so many shows out there that shouldn't have been canceled and they aired this crap?

Live-action shows are disappearing (which is a good thing) but when they did exist, I thought the channel would go the way of MTV and The History Channel.

No offense, but there probably wasn't a need for this thread to exist. It's common knowledge that nearly everyone disapproves of live action on a channel meant for cartoons.

This is probably the most overused argument/witty remark for live action shows on cartoon network. And it isn't very good/funny.
When they introduced the 2004 logo I did wonder if they would eventually drop the 'Cartoon Network' text underneath like MTV did and just become a meaningless initialism, but they never have and have actually steered well away from live action.

No, obviously! It's called CARTOON Network. It is no place for live-action shows, not to mention most of them are udder crap, like "Dude, What Would Happen?" That show is a horrid, complete rip-off of "MythBusters", and it contains a group of retards performing life-threatening stunts. Seriously? Cartoon Network calls that entertainment? Also, what if little kids start trying to perform those stunts? I'd sue Cartoon Network for sending bad messages. But, out of all of them, the worst one is "Out of Jimmy's Head". Cartoon Network tanked like mad ever since that horrible excuse for a TV show aired. The characters and acting was so God-awful, I felt like punching myself everytime it appeared on the channel. "Re-Animated", the show's disdainful origin, wasn't any better.

In the end, I'm just glad Cartoon Network is getting rid of those live-action shows, now, and getting their elements right, again. Hopefully they'll flush those live-action shows down the toilet where they will burn and rot in heck.

Yeeeeaaah, I thought it was a pretty bold (and stupid) move on CN's part to air live-action shows at the time. The whole lot of em were forgettable for me, but I did like Destroy Build Destroy and that one show where kids would go out and survive in the wilderness (and digging further back to like 2005, Zixx). I wouldn't really mind them airing live-action shows if they were actually good, but yeah, most of them tanked.

Well you obviously do considering you responded to the topic.

Otherwise, if you really didn't care, you wouldn't have posted anything at all ;]

My biggest problem with the live action shows is that they're not good at all. I would accept them more if they made me laugh. I mean I tried to watch Incredible Crew but it was so juvenile.

Oh dear lord no! I've always hated it! It's full of *shivers* teenagers. And it's sending a bad message to little kids. But, thank God there's no more. Mostly, the year 2008 had those live-action shows ( i was about 7).
