In season six, Larry completely forgot who SpongeBob and Patrick were. You can tell by this is because of how he acted in A Life in a Day, and also in Pet or Pests he said to SpongeBob, "Do I know you?"

In SpongeGuard on Duty, Larry completely knew SpongeBob.
In That's No Lady, he knew Patrick.

Did you guys notice this?

as i was watching A Life in a Day, i thought to myself "it's almost as if they changed the Larry character completely."

Possible these episode took place at some episodes that larry know spongebob and patrick.

That's not really the point. Through out the whole series, he has known SpongeBob.

If anybody also noticed, in Someone's in the Kitchen with Sandy, he knew Sandy (but it was Plankton but you know what I'm talking about.)

In "Life in a Day", he didn't seem like he didn't know them, but like he was trying to get others to laugh at them, and maybe he thought others wouldn't know them so he didn't call them by their names.

In "That's No Lady", he didn't recognize Patrick because of the disguise, just like everyone else.

In "Pets or Pests", he was probably just being rude. Or, SpongeBob is so insignificant to him, he forgot about him, which is slightly more likely.

To me, it seemed like he knew them in "A Life In A Day." I'm not sure about "Pets Or Pests" though since I've only seen it once.

In one part of the episode, he did know Patrick since he said, "Hey Patrick, nice shades" or something like that. I wasn't talking about his lady outfit.

There's a thing called continuity meaning the writers aren't perfect.
*facepalm*

I know that. -,-

But they should know each character and episode that they were corresponded in.
The writers are getting older and are beginning to forget that kind of stuff probably.
That's not a legitimate reason. And there is someone who checks the episodes, it's not just the writers. The "new" writers have been working on the series long enough to know every character and episode they have worked on, especially since the difference between Larry was in season six.

I'm not saying it was a reason. Just a simple suggestion.

But that isn't anything new though. It happens with other characters as well, like Mr. Krabs and Mrs. Puff.

How was that a suggestion? And we're not talking about Mr. Krabs and Mrs. Puff.

hey guys,I just noticed in the krabby kronicle that larry knew spongebob in that episode, and the krabby kronicle happends after a life in a day

I was suggesting that they could possibly have forgotten. -__-

I know we aren't. I was using as an example. I was saying it doesn't just happen with Larry where they mess up one of his traits, meaning it happens with other characters hence my example comes into play.

Get a grip.

Mmm, that makes sense. But Pet or Pests was after that. I guess the writers forget sometimes.

I think Larry was just being stuck up and obnoxious. It's kinda like Squidward ask Sandy the same question in "The Big One". It's not that they didn't recognize them it's just how their personalities are. They are so focused on themselves they forget others momentarily. There's no evidence that Larry didn't know SpongeBob and Pat in "A Life in the Day."
