because he's small and everyone in Japan thinks small things sound small

So Plankton had a high-pitched voice before the first movie. I know that Plankton's voice was deep in that movie. Then they changed it back to a high-pitched voice. I wonder why they decided to do that. Maybe the deep voice doesn't fit a tiny creature like Plankton, according to the Japanese people?

For the one part with the "WEE-woo-WEE-woo", SpongeBob and Patrick's voice actors should've been swapped.

I love how their mother(?) is just silently standing there the whole time.

Why does Plankton sound like a girl :nards:

i really wish i could find more clips of post movie japanese plankton since i think thats when he sounded "like one of my japanese animes"
fun fact: in japan, cartoons are also called anime

The Japanese dub is super rare to find. Like finding it won't be an easy task, but i'm more curious to watch the whole episode in other languages.

I used to have the Japanese Home Sweet Pineapple DVD as a kid, I bought it off Play-Asia in like 2006. I dunno what happened to it. But I do remember watching Band Geeks in Japanese! They left "Sweet Victory" untranslated.
