Paul Tibbit said that he thinks the Krabby Patty is vegan, but he's still not Stephen Hillenberg, only the creator can say for sure. Does it have meat? Does it not? If you think it has meat, what kind?

nuh uh humans have meat but we still eat meat dummy!!
Of course we eat meat, I don't talk about humans. Only there are fish and mammal creatures in the sea, so it makes sense If the krabby patties wouldn't be made of meat.

Uh, why would it be cannibalism exactly? I'm pretty sure there's non-sapient animals in Bikini Bottom. Like clams and those manatees from Blackened Sponge that always posted when topics like this pops up, but everyone ignores.

It's like saying eating cow is cannibalism, because cows are mammals and lives on land like us.

"You know, I don't know [what's in a Krabby Patty]. I DO know from Steve Hillenburg, the creator, that it is not meat. It is not ground up fish. That would be cannibalism. It is some sort of vegetable matter. Seaweed? Tofu? I don't know, but it's not flesh."

ok, maybe I didn't explain clearly and just went with the word "cannibalism". What I meant is that people under the sea are civilized people, so it'd be pretty disturbing that krabby patties are made of fish meat.

I agree with this:

"Krabby Patties are made with sea beef.
What's sea beef, you ask? It's the under water equivalent of cow beef. It comes from sea cows!"

Clams and manatees are not fish. For manatees, they're mammals, and Sandy mentioned barbecue sometimes, which means in the surface they also eats cows.

Also saying fish eating fish is cannibalism is like saying man eating.... anything on land is cannibalism. Fish is a very broad term for underwater creatures. And besides, for man we eat unevolved animals like cows. While underwater, the civilized and sapient fish (can talk, have consciousness) probably eats unevolved "animal" fish.

Stephen Hillenburg have degree in marine biology but somehow he just kinda jumps over this and went "it's not actually meat lol". That's very disappointing.

I said the cannibalism thing was overboard for me to say. I get your point.

It's probably what the secret formula is all about, also that secret pink sauce I think showed up a time or two but who knows, it's probably not meat itself but something close.

Big fish eat small fish... Sharks eat small fish... You know how it is.

It's a ::dolphin noise::ing Secret Formula. What part of that don't you understand?

I sort of assumed that it was made from a combination of different things, like seaweed, coral, eggs, mushrooms, etc. Kind of like those Morning Star veggie burgers.

We've seen many different species of fish/understa critters in the Krusty Krab. Krabs probably chose a vegetarian recipe so he could appeal to a broader clientele.

That fits with the formula's creation in Friend or Foe, with Krabs just knocking a shelf of random ingredients into the batter.

He probably uses an appealing combination of herbs/seasonings/sauces/spices to make the mixture taste as good as it does.
