Huh, I don't see why so many people are denying it so fast. There's examples of good gross-out in the show imo, like The Appetizer, the nasty patty, Plankton's chum, and etc. Just like there is good karma jokes on the show where the characters might deserve to be punished for doing something bad, in a comical way.

I can definitely see why others would dislike recent gross out humor from the show or whatever else, and I do agree that some of it is unneeded. (Like Plankton sliding down that cruise guy's bathing suit in Walking the Plankton and etc.) But at the end of the day, comedy is subjective.

Yes, they're really out of place at times, and yes, they do take it too far....

(blabs on about level of artistic quality and how that's really impressive for the way they do it in a show like SpongeBob......
