If you could have ended spongebob at a past season, what season would you pick?

Season 4. If I was an executive in 2006, that’d be the point where I would’ve said enough was enough.

I would end it with Season 5, and switch Friend or Foe from being the first episode of the season to the last.

Why?

Because that way SpongeBob could have ended after the first movie as originally intended

Also this would have prevented all the bad episodes!

The 4th season would have been a perfect stopping point

For me, it depends on what other Nickelodeon shows were airing at that point. Yeah, SpongeBob has some bad episodes post-1st movie, but I want to make sure if SpongeBob ends that there is a good backup(s) for Nick to keep leaning on. Would've been great to save other shows like Danny Phantom and others...

But if I had to choose...I would've ended after 10. Ten seasons is enough for a good show.

With the new seasons i'd say we're doing well but seasons 6-8 left me with a bad taste so after 5

Yeah, Nickelodeon needs to have a dependable backup or they're in trouble

This may be part of why they haven't cancelled SpongeBob yet

So I say don't end SBSP until you're absolutely sure you have a good enough show to replace it!
