There's a rumor on the internet that Goofy's wife is dead in Goof Troop and that he said "she's up there with the stars", but nowhere, and I mean NOWHERE can I find a single source that proves it to be real. There's no clip or episode name given anywhere and yet everyone seems to accept it as being true. It's on Wikipedia, Disney Wiki, and pretty much any other unofficial site you'd go to for information, but there's absolutely no evidence that it's real.

Now that that's out of the way, what's the real story of Goofy's wife? Is she dead? Is she alive? Are they divorced? Are they not? FIND OUT WHAT BILL FARMER HIMSELF SAYS!!!!!!!!!!!! HIS ANSWER MAY SHOCK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, when he was George Geef in the 50's cartoons he had a wife that you never saw the face of. In Goof Troop and A Goofy Movie, he has a son, but they never explain who the mom is. In the 50's cartoons, he also had a son named Goofy Jr., but Goof Troop never explains if Max is supposed to be the same character or not.
