yIKES I've had this account dead for many years.
hi yes do you how do I'm Esme. I'm someone who likes SpongeBob and memes.

Anyway, not my point

So I was going through my trash-heap of a room and looking for stuff to throw away, as we're moving to a another town next month.

posting via imgur due to not wanting to bloat this point
Does anybody else own one of these shirts?

This was part of a sweepstakes hyping up the episode "Friend or Foe," and here's what I remember about it.

  • .There were these kids in the commercials wearing shirts with "Team Krabs" and "Team Plankton." Some guy similar to Pick Boy was in them too. (EDIT: It might have been Patchy that hosted this event!)
  • Like 1,000 people won a shirt
  • Team Plankton won
I cannot find any footage or even information about this sweepstakes, nor is there any trace of it on Encyclopedia SpongeBobia. I know Team Krabs shirts existed too, but I cannot find any photos at all of these, and I think this is one of of the only photos of Team Plankton shirts.

If anybody else remembers or has better information, please post it here! I love finding out about obscure stuff.

I was only 7 when this happened, which is why my memory is so fuzzy -n-

I’m not surprised that Nickelodeon made sweepstakes for a SpongeBob special, but I like the idea of them dividing the entries into teams.

Yeah, it's a fun idea, especially with an episode like this :o

I miss the days of these sort of sweepstakes being everywhere :'D

The cycle used to be that networks would get money from viewership, then they’d use some of it to launch these sweepstakes, therefore giving more viewers insentive to watch more TV. It’s hard to imagine Netflix launching them considering its lack of ads, but you never know how history will unfold.

I don't remember this since I was only 6, but I'm pretty sure someone has this and would upload this on youtube in the future. :P

Same TBH. There's been situations where something lost was just randomly found one day
