First episode where all stories are bad

This obviously excludes any of the specials.

Even though Good Neighbors is very controversial, its sister Skill Crane is usually very beloved. The good thing about the two-story format is that even if one of them isn’t good, you still get another shot.

If both segments are bad however? Oh dear, that’s a pain...
(I’m aware there are also three-segment episodes, those tend to be much less common though)

The first instance of this if you ask me is The Splinter/Slide Whistle Stooges. Not only are both of them awful, but when I was hoping for some relief from The Splinter the second one was even worse

I'm not really sure why so many fans hate New Leaf? Just like Best Frenemies it's a really interesting exploration of the Mr. Krabs & Plankton dynamic, and the angle they're using basically depicting it as a unstable romance is really funny.

I am not sure I understand. Do you mean the first episode which its both episodes are bad?
If that's the case, then I would say Giant Squidward and No Nose Knows.
I will add more episodes:
Dear vikigns and Ditchin' (not sure if it bad or just meh)
Hide and Then What Happens? and Shellback Shenanigans
and most of the episodes from season 10
There are also some episodes which are meh, but I wrote only the bad ones.

P.S New Leaf is amazing. One of the best in season 4

I've actually only seen the first four in full, and I liked all of them. I remember liking Patrick-Man!, but never saw Gary's New Toy.

Out of the rest, the ones that look the least promising are Keep Bikini Bottom Beautiful/A Pal For Gary, House Sittin' For Sandy/Smoothe Jazz At Bikini Bottom and The Nitwitting/The Ballad Of Filthy Muck.

Mine is the KBBB / Pal For Gary

The Nitwitting or Jolly Lpdgers. I just not like post sequal seasons. Barnacle and Pet Sitter are also weak(but I don't hate them nor like them)
New Leaf and Once Beaten are the best in your list for me.

Always found The Thing/Hocus Pocus underrated as well. The Thing might contain Squidward getting tortured, but it's so cartoony and silly in nature I enjoy it (still on the weaker side of season 4 though), and Hocus Pocus is hilarious. SpongeBob is endearingly naive throughout, and Patrick is pretty careless but not really a jerk. The animation is also very interesting in this episode, some of the wackier in the season in terms of facial expressions.

Komputer Overload is boring and is one of the episodes where it shows Karen at her absolute worst.
Kracked Krabs is also boring and gets the point of exaggerating wrong.

I agree. My Leg is very very overrated. It is average - 5/10

What do you think about the Jolly Lodgers / Biddy Sitting pair? Jolly Lodgers is like Good Neighbors except it is more annoying and it takes place in a hotel, I don't really know why so many people like it. Biddy Sitting is also very overrated. The beginning starts nice, but when SpongeBob and Patrick babysit the old lady it gets very annoying and disturbing, especially the part where the old lady beats up SpongeBob and Patrick. The ending was a little forced and bad as well.
