Cartoon Network Do you like Cartoon Network?

Yes. Most of their programming is pretty solid, albeit the network has definitely aired their fair share of stinkers over the years.

My favorites from the network:

#1. Steven Universe+Future
#2. Adventure Time
#3. Courage The Cowardly Dog
#4. The Powerpuff Girls (1998)
#5. The Amazing World Of Gumball
#6. Johnny Bravo
#7. Regular Show
#8. Codename: Kids Next Door
#9. Dexter's Laboratory
#10. Over The Garden Wall

Honorable Mentions (shows I think are good, just not guite good enough to make this cut): The Grim Adventures Of Billy And Mandy, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Camp Lazlo, Chowder, The Marvelous Misadventures Of Flapjack, Uncle Grandpa, We Bare Bears, OK KO

I find Ed, Edd N' Eddy ridiculously overrated.

My LEAST Favorites from the network (Note: Only the bottom eight or so I would truly call bad shows in their entirety)

#1. The High Fructose Adventures Of Annoying Orange
#2. The Problem Solvers
#3. The Powerpuff Girls (2016)
#4. Secret Mountain Fort Awesome
#5. Squirrel Boy
#6. My Gym Partner's A Monkey
#7. Teen Titans GO!
#8. Ben 10 (2017)
#9. Clarence (This show is actually okay, but for whatever reason Clarence's voice can be really grating at times in my opinion which is a real problem)
#10. Whatever Happened To Robot Jones (Again, I don't think this show is bad, but it's just unremarkable)

Dishonorable mentions: Ed Edd N' Eddy, Cow And Chicken, I Am Weasel, Apple And Onion (Again, none of these shows are bad but all are flawed in my opinion)

we were good until you insulted Clarence and apple and onion overhated shows

I liked a lot of the cartoons they had on there. Some of my favorites include Samurai Jack, Adventure Time, Courage the Cowardly Dog and Clarence. I also liked The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy.

For a cable channel founded in 1992 by Ted Turner, Cartoon Network's schedule in its early years relied heavily on classic Looney Tunes and classic Hanna-Barbera cartoons until around 1995, when the "What A Cartoon!" show debuted and was used as a launchpad for many Cartoon Network original cartoons (a.k.a. "Cartoon Cartoons"), including "Dexter's Laboratory" in 1995 and "The Powerpuff Girls" in 1998 (The Powerpuff Girls started out with two WaC shorts in 1995 and 1996: Meat Fuzzy Lumpkins and Crime 101).

One of Cartoon Network's most successful cartoons was originally going to air on Nickelodeon after airing a few shorts on Nickelodeon's "Random! Cartoons" in 2007, but unfortunately, Nickelodeon rejected it for being too weird, so the cartoon was then pitched to rival Cartoon Network. They liked the cartoon. That cartoon was "Adventure Time," which first aired in 2010 to great success. Nickelodeon rejected "Adventure Time" in favor of "Fanboy & ChumChum," a CGI-animated cartoon loaded with gross-out humor (there's gross-out humor in "Adventure Time," but it is tame in comparison, being limited mostly to fart jokes, with the gross-out humor taking a backseat to a large amount of fantasy violence and other forms of irreverent humor).

However, Nickelodeon Germany aired "Adventure Time" despite being a Cartoon Network original which began as a few Nickelodeon shorts.

Yes. Cartoon Network was one of my favorite channels growing up...

The late 1990s/early 2000s were a great time for Cartoon Network with their strong program lineup, which made them a worthy competitor to Nickelodeon in the cable television arena where both channels were in a tug-of-war over viewers...

I didn't watch it a ton, but the shows I did watch were Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Courage the Cowardly Dog, The Powerpuff Girls (the original one), The Amazing World of Gumball, and Dexter's Laboratory. I watched Chowder and We Bare Bears much later in life.

Holy ::dolphin noise:: you still have your legendary avatar here

Adventure Time is one of if not my favorite shows of all time. Regular Show was also one of my favorite CN shows. Then of course there is the Total Drama series. I've only seen Island and part of Action, but they're great.

In terms of cartoons, I like more Nick shows in general, but the CN shows I do like surpass most of the Nick shows.

Honestly I prefer CN over Nick. I feel like CNs most mediocre shows are better than most Nick shows. My favorite CN shows are Adventure Time, Regular Show, Craig of the Creek, and Space Ghost: Coast to Coast (originally was CN before moving to Adult Swim). I also believe CN's adult programming block Adult Swim is better than Nick @ Nite.

What I like about Adventure Time, was that the cartoon show was popular enough to get two spin-offs, each continuing the stories after the show's extraordinary 10-season run, Adventure Time: Distant Lands and Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake. Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake focuses on a gender-swapped Finn and Jake, whose parallel universe was planted by Prismo inside of Simon Petrokov (Ice King)'s thoughts.

The gender-swapped episodes in the original ten seasons of Adventure Time were sprinkled in with episodes primarily focusing on Finn, Jake and other characters, including Marceline and Princess Bubblegum.

I didn’t grow up with it for the most part (with a few exceptions, like MAD - those were good times), but I did end up getting into it more as I got older. I now love the following shows:
- Uncle Grandpa (my favorite CN show)
- Billy and Mandy
- Flapjack
- Codename KND
- Over the Garden Wall

These next shows I haven’t watched as much, but I’ve also really enjoyed some of:
- Regular Show
- Chowder
- Be Cool, Scooby-Doo!
- Johnny Bravo
- Cow and Chicken
- Dexter’s Laboratory
- Gumball
- Apple and Onion

I watched my first Ed Edd n Eddy episode a couple of months ago and really liked it. I plan to watch more.

Oh and I also like Teen Titans Go.

Overall, I'd say yes. It has had its moments, but Cartoon Network has a decent catalog, dare I say a better catalog than Nickelodeon. I'd say CN has more good shows for my reasoning, especially around 2010-2019. Nick only really had Spongebob, Fairly OddParents, and later on The Loud House at that time, and the former two shows were at a low point for a good chunk of that era. ...I suppose not much has changed these days.

I find Ed, Edd N' Eddy ridiculously ovoverrated.
if you had only watched season 1, then i'd agree. the 1st half of season 1 is pretty mediocre, honestly. i remember many of the episodes being slow and not very entertaining. the 2nd half is a little better, but it wasn't until season 2 when i actually started genuinely (and consistently) enjoying it
