The Disney Channel is kicking off the season with a brand new crossover special, Good Luck Jessie: N.Y.C Christmas! Leading the way will be the week-long Home for the Holidays event, featuring Bridget Mendler in an hour long block of Good Luck Charlie, each weeknight at 7.p.m.

This Friday, two of the Disney Channel's biggest shows are coming together for one very special Christmas episode. The Duncan and the Ross families will be teaming up in the Good Luck Charlie and Jessie crossover episode, Good Luck Jessie: N.Y.C Christmas. The official synopses for the episode reads:

"'Good Luck Jessie: NYC Christmas’--In the crossover episode, Teddy and PJ travel to New York City to tour a university, but a blizzard prevents their return home in time for Christmas. After meeting Jessie on the subway, they embark on a Ross family holiday like no other. Back in Denver, Bob takes the Duncan kids to meet Santa, but Gabe is not in the holiday spirit."

This will not be either series first crack at a crossover episode. The GLC gang previously shook it up with Bella Thorne and Zendaya, while Jessie rocked out with Austin and Ally. The Duncan clan previously had an extended holiday adventure in the 2011 movie, Good Luck Charlie: It’s Christmas. However, this Christmas looks like the family's last one on the Disney Channel. Earlier this year, it was announced that the fourth season of Good Luck Charlie would be its last. A rep for the Disney Channel released a statement that read:

“On behalf of everyone at Disney Channel, it’s been our great pleasure to work with the extraordinary producers Phil Baker, Drew Vaupen and Dan Staley and the writers and crew of Good Luck Charlie...We could not have dreamt of a better cast than Bridgit Mendler, Jason Dolley, Leigh-Allyn Baker, Bradley Steven Perry, Mia Talerico and Eric Allan Kramer (and even little Logan Moreau as Baby Toby!) and the many guest stars who make the series so special.”

Good Luck Jessie: N.Y.C Christmas airs the Friday night on the Disney Channel.
Well, this had to happen.

No...no...help me...the first phase of the world's end...help....the pain of this...help...

Hey, you always have to make a crossover for your two most successful shows :P

WELL WHERES THE WANDER/GRAVITY FALLS CROSSOVER THEN!??! I know if it happens it'll have to be in 2015 because of Disney not deciding early how long Gravity Falls s1 shouldve been. *sighs*

Here's how I rate current DC shows from best to worst:

(Note: Ratings are based on how good they are now, not how good they ever were)

T-1. Gravity Falls
T-1. Wander Over Yonder
(Though nothing else even comes close to comparing to these two)
A waaaaaaay distant 2. Phineas and Ferb
3. Good Luck Charlie
A waaaaaaay distant 4. Jessie
5. A.N.T. Farm
6. Fish Hooks (should've been cancelled after Season 1)
7. Dog With A Blog
8. Austin & Ally

Shake it Up not included because it's been cancelled. Liv & Maddie not included because it's too new.

Good Luck Charlie was a refreshingly realistic show until it turned all to mush. Boys, boys, boys, boys, just break up with Spencer already and get it over with. And start mothering, mother, instead of trying to be on TV every day. The occasional character quirks that used to be minor blips are now way overdone.
