Disney Hit Show "Shake It Up" Cancelled After 3 Seasons

This show is so wildly popular that I'm stunned they didn't give it a fourth season, undeserving of one as it may be. And, I could be wrong, but I wouldn't see Jessie going anywhere anytime soon, especially since they show it about 57,763,256 times a day on Disney (give or take).

But then again, Jessie and Austin & Ally, while still popular, have been around for two years already, meaning their time is probably about half up, hopefully less, but that would be my estimate.

So the future of Disney Channel (sans the brilliant animation of GF and WOY) is left to Dog with a Blog, Liv & Maddie, Girl Meets World, and whatever other half-baked shows they have coming down the line.

And I don't think Girl Meets World will do well because, while a good idea conceptually, by the time it airs it will have been about fifteen years after the final Boy Meets World episode aired, and kids will have to be at least 14 or 15 to have been alive when it last aired an episode.

*cough*

That is all...

Was it really a hit? I haven't seen a Disney Channel show become a cultural hit in years. They've always been really cheesy though with a sappy moral at the end of every episode.

GF will be around the longest, no doubt about it. It'a been around for over a year, and it won't even start season 2 for another year. If you've noticed by now, the Disney cartoon shows last the longest. The longest lasting Disney show in history is Phineas and Ferb, with second as Kim Possible.

You've probably already heard about this from the commercials, revealing that it's about CeCe getting amneisa, and forgetting Rocky. Anyways, glad to see this show finally end, although I'm surprised that it's ending before Phineas and Ferb. Now they just need to end Jessie. The final episode is aired on November 10.
I don't think the need to end Jessie they need to end Dog with a Blog
I am glad it is ending

I feel happy about this because i thought that the show was ridiculous. But I'm sure there are some 6-12 year olds that are sad about this.

I also hope that the two girls who played the main two girls get somewhere with their lives. I hope them the best

Eew i thought this poopy show ended already

I never liked this show. Ever. And yes I saw at least a few minutes of it. Ugh.

Why can't Disney just start-up a "Boomerang"-like or "Nick@Night/90s are All That"-like program/block(s) where they air all the old good stuff; like Kim Possible, Lizzie McGuire, House of Mouse (or not idk i never cared for it), That's So Raven, Jedex/Toon Disney cartoons, etc.

They should also bring back Jedex/Toon Disney, like how CN is bringing back Toonami; late-night/early-morning, older target-audience, uncut, etc.

idk, just my opinion. I mean maybe Disney is more aimed towards tweeny-bop girls (at least right now), but that isn't going to save the channel for long (assuming Disney doesn't use it's big bucks to keep it live), and they should try to win back their older fans that are now either teens or college/grad-aged.

Don't forget Micky Mouse! :P But that's not really a show so whatever

I mean Disney originally specialized in cartoons since the early-mid 19??'s for decades when the heck did they start sitcoms
