Well, there's one for Perfect Chemistry, so I thought I'd do one for Love That Squid.
Lol, I should've made this a long time ago, but I wasn't here February.

I was really psyched to see this episode, hoping that Squilvia and Squidward would go on the real date, but instead, they just stuck with the practice date, which got me disappointed.

Meh. Besides that, I'm glad they got to go out in the ending.
I hope I'm not the only one who thinks that Squilvia is a Mary-Sue. :/

This episode is a perfect example of something that wouldn't fit into the SpongeBob canon.

If there was one.

Besides that, the practice date was humorous.

I personally didn't like it, but it was more the concept I didn't like rather than the writing. It had some good jokes, but other than that it felt very much like a bad fanfiction. Squilvia? Eh ...

Every female fic writer in this fandom (minus me, so HA) and their mom has written a SquidwardxFemale OC fanfic.

And this probably feels like every single one smashed together.

I'll bet you that.

I voted "It's okay...not too bad. Could've been better, though". The reason I say this is because I thought that Squidward and Squilvia would go on a real date but they didn't. To me, the funniest parts were when Spongebob was dressed like a lady and going on the practice date with Squidward! :D

@DMAP & Mothra: Squilvia is her real name, lol. She mentioned it in the episode...

If you both were talking about that.

i thought it was sort of dumb. they could have made it a lot funnier and showed the actual date. but honestly, i think it would have been a lot funnier to have patrick or spongebob go on a date (preferably patrick) and have like spongebob or patrick be a really obnoxious and annoying date. but then again i hate the whole "dating" thing in cartoons. its stupid, especially in spongebob. thats why i always thougt that it was a good idea to keep all the characters single (except plankton i guess). but if they were going to bring dating into it, at least make it funny. as long as it isnt a stupid fan fiction thing and is actually funny and well written then i guess it would be alright.

This episode's not bad, per se. But, they should've went on the date for real. At times this episode was boring and rarely got a laugh out of me. Good plot, but could've been better.

It was a good episode and I laughed a little, but they should have gone on a real date.

This.

They need some new writers for Spongebob. Maybe bribing Stephen Hillenburg with a ton of money would be the best bet.
Why does everyone think that bringing back Stephen Hillenburg will make the show amazing again? It won't.

I doubt this would ever get the "best episode ever" rating. It was a little funny, but not funny enough to make me love it. It's probably the lowest-rated Valentine's Day episode of SpongeBob yet. I put "Meh". 5/10
