I grew up with this along with Ed Edd n Eddy, Teen Titans, Courage The Cowardly Dog, and Spongebob Squarepants. I never found to be cursed and your theory made me say WTF.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that. A few months ago, while watching the show, a demon bursted out of the TV and killed me! I thought that was just a coincidence, but it happened to a lot of people I know who watched the show as well.
