RESULTS ON NEXT PAGE, VOTING HAS ENDED!

The criteria was "Draw SpongeBob any way you want, any style, any model, any coloring, any shape, any inspiration, just make it look like SpongeBob!" The drawers could do any style they wanted, this gave them a lot of freedom to draw SpongeBob how they wanted. Vote on the one that you feel fits this criteria the best and the one you like the most! Grade the drawing, not the picture quality! (Person's name is BELOW the picture, participants may vote too!)

RULES:
As a sort of Easter celebration, I'm hosting a draw your own SpongeBob competition! Here's how it works:
Last day to submit: it's not too late!

RULES:
  • Entry fee of 10 doubloons (used for prize).
  • Submit your drawing below by Sunday April 23, 2017 at 9:00 PM EST (scan or picture). This should be a picture of SpongeBob. Draw it any way you want, any style, any model, any coloring, any shape, any inspiration, just make it look like SpongeBob! It can be completely original or draw from a scene. Your choice!
  • Only one submission per person please. You may not use any drawing that was done previously before the contest, I'll have to take your word on it. If you submit something and want to submit something else instead just ask me and I'll sort it out.
  • After entries close on Sunday April 23, 2017 at 9:00 PM EST, I will make immediately make another post where everybody can vote on their favorite SpongeBob sketch. Polling will close the next day on Monday April 24, 2017 at 9:00 PM EST.
  • The winner will be announced shortly after polling closes.
  • The first place winner will receive all of the doubloons from everybody's entry fees (EX: if 5 people enter, the first person in first place will get 50 doubloons)!
  • Honorable mentions will be given out as well!
  • For the contest to run, at least 3 people must sign up. If this goal isn't reached by the deadline, I will return everybody's doubloons to them (if the deadline is requested to be extended that is possible as well)
SUMMARY:
  • Entry fee of 10 doubloons.
  • Turn your SpongeBob drawing in by Sunday April 23, 2017 at 9:00 PM EST.
  • We will vote for the winner after the deadline.
  • The first place winner will receive all of the doubloons from everybody's entry fees
  • Winner will be announced the next day after voting closes.
PRIZE AMOUNT:
  • As of now prize is 120 doubloons.

I'll bite, even if my art skills aren't that great.
 
I think this would work a lot better like a lottery, like everyone donates 10 to get in and the winner gets the whole bundle. That way when there's more people it would be bigger stakes for everyone. And you as the host wouldn't come out with any more or less doubloons than you started with. If that were the case I might consider joining.

That's a great idea! I'll change it to be like that. That is the fairest way I can see it.
 
Thanks for all of the positive responses to this! If you plan to join, don't forget to submit the 10 doubloons to me, the winner gets all of the submitted doubloons!

And remember, the picture can be anything ​related to SpongeBob the character. You may draw SpongeBob from an existing scene or make a completely new SpongeBob. You can change the style or the coloring. The choice is yours!

Go to my page, and click on donate doubloons, which is a button above the big green box with the number. In the reason box put "Contest" and in the amount put "10" :thumb1:

EDIT: Nice drawing BTW!
