The 2004 movie has had 3 covers.

The US and international version, the UK version and the re-release version.

I don't want to know what SpongeyBoob wants to do with that life preserver

Original US version. It's the most unique and looks like it actually had effort put into it. The original UK and re-release covers are just modified stock art as far as I can tell. I also hate that they changed the life preserver logo for the re-release. :(

The first one, I have it and it's always been eyecandy for me. The other ones are okay, just more simple.

I think the first one is better.
Its the one I have

I wonder why they didn't keep the same?

The original one is best. It sort of captures what the movie is about and some things that go on.

Re release. It's just so simple, which I like about it so it can leave the actual movie's surprises to the audience.

I only just realized that the re-release is edited versions of SpongeBob and Patrick from the original cover. I wonder why they bothered doing that? You'd think if they were going to change the cover they'd make it completely different.

Who was the person that voted for the UK cover?

Me. I don't like the US cover as it kind of spoils the experience as what Big Meaty Leedles mentioned. Also, I'm a fan of just simplistic artwork and not some busy artwork.
