It's like the story I found on deviantArt once. Spongebob meets digimon, I read the first sentence...and never continued it
 
I thought the loud house and spongebob crossover was a bad idea, but this is just as bad, I don't see how a video game/anime with continuity would work with spongebob which has only like one percent continuity, then again, there was the uncle grandpa and Steven universe crossover, which wasn't canon, but we know how that turned out. (Badly)
 
I think this might be a bad idea. It would be difficult to sell the idea of underwater creatures being, well, on land and not dying. SpongeBob and Patrick cannot survive on land for very long. Plus, how would Ash meet them? I'm not sure how this would even work. Sorry!
 
I LOVE Pokemon, but remember that SpongeBob was a rejected candidate for Smash Bros lol.
