Now that most of our Wii-biased people are gone, I want to see what people's opinions are now. This adds every console, except for handhelds and peripherals (I'll make a thread for that later) Also, have intelligent reasons. You shouldn't just vote for something because "it sounds cool."

My choices for each generation are Atari Pong, Atari 2600, NES, Sega Genesis, Playstation 1, Playstation 2, and Playstation 3.

All hail Arky for the late 70's and early 80's being included!
1st: The Odyssey. A rather legendary one.
2nd: Intellivision. Better graphics and sound than the Atari. Awesome games as well, plus BEE SHEVENTEEN BAWMER. I was totally fine with that dial thing, btw. Burger Time and Snafu were fun with that.
3rd: The Super Cassette Vision, for its legacy. Night Trap was originally made for this console (I think), and most of us know what that game, and many others, led to.
4th: SNES. Kind of a "ummm...can't decide" choice, but anyway...The TurboGrafx/PC Engine needs some love too.
5th: Nintendo 64. I love that gray thing that I can't even find the cords to.
6th: Playstation 2. Pretty influential, and I love it just as much as my aforementioned 64.
Current: umm....umm...I voted for the Wii just so I could have a false sense of completion.

1st gen: Odyssey. Granddaddy of all games.
2nd gen: Atari. The definition of classic.
3rd gen: NES. No explanation needed.
4th gen: SNES, but Genesis is very close (Ristar and S3&K are awesome, but SNES has Yoshi's Island, Super Mario World, Link to the Past, etc)
5th gen: I was tempted to say Apple Pippin (:P) but N64 it is. Super Smash Bros. ftw.
6th gen: GameCube, but Xbox is very close. PS2 is overrated.
7th gen: Wii for its innovation, but they all suck
