I thought it would never happen, but Linkin Park, one of my all-time favorite bands, is finally back! They've been out of action since July 2017, when the world of rock lost one of its best frontmen in Chester Bennington. Even though co-frontman Mike Shinoda is their primary creative mind, Chester was the face of the band, and the conduit through which millions upon millions of listeners, including me, connected to their music. I had started to think that it was impossible for the band to continue without him. Well... they have, and how? The answer is Emily Armstrong of Dead Sara:
Honestly, if there's any band that can adapt to losing such a core part of themselves, LP is probably it. They've already proven themselves capable of changing and evolving with every single album, and this one song shows that they can continue to be themselves with Emily on board. I can't wait to hear how the new album turns out!
