I barely see people who like this episode and I don't know why.
I rewatched this episode 2 days ago and it's just great and one of my favorite episodes of season 8 and the entire show.
The idea of making an episode about a vacation is really interesting and I think that the execution is really good.
There are only a few episodes about an adventure and the nature which are interesting in my opinion.
There are some good and funny jokes and scenes, like "hide and seek", when Patrick helps them pushing the car or the scene Spongebob and Patrick play at the playground etc.
The place Spongebob and Patrick got to is unique and interesting and remind me of Rock Bottom a bit. They both look as dangerous and weird places with monsters.
The Road Song and when Spongebob plays the Road Song on whistle are pretty nice.
In conclusion, I find this episode really interesting and special with great jokes and very nice soundtrack during the episode.
