A new THQ Nordic SpongeBob video game confirmed for next year

As revealed by the end of this video, a new SpongeBob SquarePants video game from THQ Nordic has been confirmed for next year, but that's all we know as this time.​

Oh h*** yeah!!! That's what I like to see! THQ Nordic and SpongeBob games are just such a wonderful combination. Looks like the new game could be a tie-in to the 4th movie? I point this out given the emphasis on the Flying Dutchman and SpongeBob and Patrick turning into ghosts, and the fact that they even released this little trailer on Halloween anyway (not a necessary day to release a trailer by any means, implies that the game will have these ghost features). Although, they still used Brian Doyle Murray for the laugh here, and not Mark Hamill (which, no complaints from me because I'm already mad they're giving the Dutchman a new voice for the movie). Maybe the laugh is a reused sound bite? And maybe, if the game is a tie-in, they don't want to spoil that yet. We haven't had a tie-in game in such a long time.

The only thing I'm worried about is that the game could be rushed like the last two games kinda were. I mean I loved both BFBBR and The Cosmic Shake, but there's no denying the graphics errors of the former and the lackluster boss battle of the latter.

Revenge of the Flying Dutchman? I personally don't think this will be a remake, but instead another original game, just like The Cosmic Shake.
