It's not the new animation style that's the problem, he still looks weird when he just stands still unanimated. I think he looks so weird because of the face, since everything else looks almost exactly the same as the season 5 handsome Squidward, but his face looks just wrong to me. His eyes are to close to each, I guess nose is too small and his smile is so weird lmao
