Kenny the Cat is a SpongeBob SquarePants episode from season nine. In this episode, SpongeBob gets a new superhero to look up to: Kenny the Cat!

Kenny the Cat? Seems kinda strange for a episode to be named like that.

What are your opinions about this episode?

GENIUS!

At this rate we're going to end up with several pages of chat that has nothing to do with the episode before it's even aired. :p
So I'm going to lock it for now and re-open it when we actually have an air date.

I feel like this episode was sort of a homage to old SpongeBob. Not just plain pre-movie, but season 1 and some of 2. Of course, I enjoyed it.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with it. But it wasn't funny. At all. So really, it was amazingly ok.
Why are all your reviews so pessimistic? I liked it. At least, it wasn't bad. There were some funny moments which I don't feel like explaining.

And wasn't Eric Weise a story artist for this episode? I guess that's why.

all in all it was a great episode five star rated 100/10 and two thumbs up way up.

I despised the design for Kenny. The story was okay though, if a bit boring. None of the jokes were funny, but it told an alright enough story to be one of the better episodes this season.

If you say so.

There was particularly nothing wrong with this episode I suppose, like no annoying gags or anything. Just wasn't that funny, I felt like it needed more variety of places and it was predictable a bit. (Then again I watched it in Greek ages ago.) The obsession part reminded me of my obsession with SB and the conversations of Sandy were a bit amusing. Not bad, not great. I liked Kenny's voice though and I'm glad he didn't turn out villainous. Didn't make sense how he could talk underwater though.

5/10

Will watch again soon to get my full thoughts.

Two minutes in, I knew that one of two things would happen: that either Kenny would be a fake or that Sandy would upstage him.

Looks like I was right on both!

On the whole, this episode was okay... a bit rushed, nothing overly atrocious... but nothing standing out enough for this to be marked down as a great episode either. We'll make this a 6.5/10.

And yes, Sandy... it's a DOG that you can't trust.

Okay, back to the hockey game!

I prefer the term "realistic".
Oh my gosh, beat me right to it. Read my mind.
