I've seen most people hate this one. I honestly do not. I think it's a pretty alright episode.

Spoiler: example of what I liked but others didn't

Some people say Sammy turning out to be a problem (or a "villain" as they'd say) is a bad thing, but honestly, without it the episode would've been nothing. In my opinion this was a needed conflict, and I even think it should've happened sooner. They also don't seem to like Plankton appearing. This I can understand why but honestly it doesn't bother me.

I liked this episode, but it was weaker than yesterday's for sure. It wasn't that funny with some exceptions and some scenes are kinda weird. But somehow I just like the overall feel and atmosphere, I don't know why.

I thought it was great how they gave that Squidward smells good joke from Sailor Mouth a bit of a revive. I also liked how Moppy was added in as a character, and the episode's climax was also very appealing to me. 8/10.

I don't think I consider Sheldon SquarePants to be better than this one (or at least, not anymore). I really like this episode a lot. Idk, it just feels... different compared to any episode of the first half of Season 14. I think this is creative, has a charm to it. It might not be that funny but I don't care about that, nor do I mind the "gross" stuff. I don't think prefer it to episodes like Kreepaway and BassWard. But I still like it a lot.

Just watched the episode today, and here are my fresh thoughts.

It's a very simple and safe episode, and there isn't really a plot for most of it. But I personally like these kind of episodes where it's just silly fun and nothing is at stake. I really liked the music and the "Sailor Mouth" reference in the bathroom scene. I don't mind Sammy becoming the "antagonist" towards the end of the episode, since there had to be some sort of conflict. But overall, this episode is nothing remarkable, but it's more charming than chaotic; I'll give it a Good (14/20).
