2024 World Series

What did you guys think of this year's World Series?

As a Phillies fan, I didn't really root for either the Dodgers or the Yankees. But it's still nice to see Shohei Ohtani get his first World Series ring and Freddie Freeman win MVP. The Dodgers definitely looked better than the Yankees the entire series so I was expecting them to win the entire time.

As for the Yankees... they were so bad this series that it's funny. They blew Game 1 with a walk-off grand slam and Game 5 with two really bad errors... it looks like something out of a comedy sports movie. I still feel bad for Soto and Stanton- they really did well this series and it's sad how the rest of the team just never really supported them. It was nice to see the Yankees win Game 4 (and give their fans false hope), but it was always going to be the Dodgers.

Looking forward to the 2025 season now... Phillies, ya better get Juan Soto and ya better get past the Mets this time. Je n'aime pas les Mets.

It was interesting for a series that only went 5 games. I don't like either team, so was only rooting for a good series. Yanks are not good running the bases..

Not a surprising result for the series though. Dodgers too good
