Yes, the ones with "The Tip Top Polka/The Cliff Polka", "Captain Lenoe's", composers Harry Bluestone, Emil Cadkin, Phil Green, Harry Lubin (the first four came from Capitol Music Library), Brian Peters, Terry Day, Larry Hochman, Norman Dane, David Farnon, Ib Glindemann, etc. And it's a BIG possibility (except Factory Fresh, the leftover from Season 9, and possibly some of the first eps of Season 10) we won't hear them anymore in the show.

Is there a reason for this? Did APM lose the rights Carlin? I don't exactly know if the websites these tracks are on now are stock music websites themselves, but if not, it's sad to see them go so abruptly. Though, considering Nick Carr still was able to use tracks that are no longer a part of APM, maybe he still has the album these tracks are on. But, if not, goodbye to hearing these tracks on SpongeBob (and possible other shows).

I just hope they don't remove KPM from the APM Music library.

Sorry for asking but who's Carlin?

Well, the good thing is we might hear Phil Green's music less often. His music is still overused and kinda drag down the background music.

No wonder the first two tracks (the Krusty Krab original theme) rarely plays anymore. :/ Harry Bluestone's tracks are pretty good, so it's a shame if they got rid of it.

So much for the lack of originality of music editing these days...the music editing had been crappy since season 7.

But you still can't deny that the tracks are well composed. They appeared on APM in 2009, so they are used ever since. As for the polkas, they are traditional tunes and are harder to use many times since 2008. Also, CPM music had the lowest price on APM.

Former name of CPM Music.

Deeply saddened to hear this news. Really love the Bluestone/Cadkin, Lubin, and Green tracks, and it's horrible to see them removed from APM's site. Wonder where they are now...

At least they're in a better place now...

I wouldn't say so. The search system for Warner/Chappel is awful. REALLY awful.

They have to be archived

They are still on Warner/Chappell Production Music website and could be listened at any time, but since the library music from SpongeBob is from APM Music only, we probably won't hear tracks from this label anymore on the show.

I agree. It's going to be difficult getting used to that website's search engine.

Sorry for double-posting, but I just want to know if this means this is no longer stock music. I mean, it's one thing for this music to no longer be used on SpongeBob, but it would be so bad that perfectly good classic '50s music couldn't be used on certain television shows anymore.

Some companies order the music from Warner/Chappell collection (which has Carlin), or UPPM production music collection (has Bruton, Kosinus and some other APM labels). In our country, Russia, some live-action shows tend to do this. But since Carr tends to use the other music library collection, APM Music, there is a big possibility the tracks from Carlin won't be heard again in the show.

But there's a chance for him to look deep into the albums with '50s music he hasn't used much, like Soho Archive (he already started to do this), KPM Brownsleeves, and some Bruton archival tracks, like this one.

Vincent Waller said that Carr has already done editing Season 10 before that Carlin transition.

In that case, we might as well enjoy the last season we'll hear this music in SpongeBob.

They might be able to get these tracks on the show, considering they were able to get "Hawaiian Train" and "What Shall We Do with the Drunken Sailor?" back in Season 9, but I'm not sure. It's an awful shame, nonetheless. There were lots of those tracks I really enjoyed.

These tracks and albums they were from belong to Selected Sound, I should remind you. It's the most interesting label on APM which had half of their tracks removed from APM because of copyright reasons in 2010-2011, I think. Carr might have had these albums in physical copies, since Selected Sound has many of the albums which could only be found at databases like Discogs. Yes, Carr could buy it from there and have a talk with rightholders. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Carlin Archive Series, however, doesn't have many albums in physical copies and mostly distributes them in digital form. And Carr tends to use APM Music label collection on the show as the source of library tracks, but I don't think he could use the music from APM and Warner/Chappell collections at the same time. This would be harder for him to find the music he needs for the show, as well as more expensive. Plus, as far as I know, Carlin tracks were the least expensive on APM and therefore were easier to use in the show frequently. I don't know if Warner/Chappell has the same thing. And I think Carr's pretty much used to APM.

So, since Carr managed to finish Season 10 before that Carlin removal, we, as Amphitrite pointed out above, should just enjoy the pretty much last season with these tracks.

It's too bad "Driven Frantic" won't be heard, which is a shame, because it's a pretty bombastic track.
